The EMST150 and the EMST75 LITE is a positive expiratory pressure (PEP) medical device.
At one end it has a mouthpiece through which the patient must exhale. The pressure exerted can be regulated by rotating the central axis, it has different pressure levels that allow the patient's progress to be monitored.
The patient is trained by simply blowing into the device to exceed the pressure threshold.

The IA150 inspiratory adapter is an adapter designed to create an inspiratory trainer. It is used with the EMST150/EMST75 LITE to create a dual-purpose respiratory muscle strength training device by inserting the EMST device into the IA150. With the addition of the IA150 you can train inspiratory muscles with the EMST150/EMST75 LITE.
You train by simply breathing into the device to exceed the pressure threshold.
