WHAT IS IT?

Equipment Review is performed on electromedical devices to ensure they function correctly. To put it simply, it's like taking your car for an MOT.

WHICH EQUIPMENT CAN BE REVIEWED?

  • CPAP and Auto CPAP from Philiips Respironics, BMC, and Sefam.
  • Portable concentrators from Inogen, Philips Respironics, and Scaleo.
  • Stationary concentrators from Inogen, Philips Respironics, Scaleo, and Yuwell.

IS IT MANDATORY?

No, but it's recommended, especially for continuous use (24 hours a day) or heavy usage. Otherwise, it can be postponed.

HOW LONG DOES MAINTENANCE TAKE?

This service is carried out at our own facilities and takes 3 days from when it leaves your home until it returns (for example, from Monday to Wednesday).


If you choose the Replacement Review option, it will take up to 4 working days, from Monday to Thursday. We recommend requesting this service on working days (preferably starting on Monday) so the user doesn't have to rely on the arrival of the equipment.

WHEN IS IT RECOMMENDED TO DO IT?

It's advisable to have a Review whenever one of these situations occurs:

  • When one year has passed since purchase.
  • When one year has passed since the last Technical Service (repair).
  • When one year has passed since the last Maintenance.
  • Whenever there are doubts about whether it's working correctly but the equipment shows no signs of malfunction, or if it hasn't been used for more than a year.

The cost of the Review depends on the type of device and the rate you choose. You can see it in more detail in the following table.

For Inogen At Home concentrators, replacement is required if it has been 5 years since purchase or has reached 12,000 hours of use. For EverFlo concentrators, it is recommended to change the filter every 2 years.

STEP 1: TELL US WHAT YOU NEED

You can formalize the Equipment Review service by phone, email, or WhatsApp, indicating which rate you are interested in and any other clarification you wish to make. We will send you a quote with the total cost according to your choices.

STEP 2: COLLECTION OF YOUR EQUIPMENT

Once payment has been confirmed, the transport company will collect the equipment from your home on the agreed day.

In the case of a Review with replacement, the equipment will also be delivered to you.

STEP 3: WE GET TO WORK

At TuTratamiento.com, we receive your equipment the next day. We will carry out the Review, and if everything is correct, it will be repackaged and prepared for return to your home.

STEP 4: DELIVERY OF YOUR EQUIPMENT

The same transport company will deliver your equipment to your home.

In the case of the Review with Replacement, you must also return the replacement equipment in the same condition as you received it.

Send only the device without any accessories such as cables, charger, tube/mask/nasal cannula, etc. At TuTratamiento.com, we have everything necessary to perform the service, and we are not responsible in case any accessory is lost.

Both your equipment and the replacement (when you return it) must be handed over to the carrier properly packaged to ensure they do not suffer any damage during the journey to our facilities.

At TuTratamiento.com, we have a large stock of replacement equipment, so we always try to provide an identical one. If we do not have availability, we will inform you before starting the process and will send you one with similar characteristics.

A Review is not a repair. The best example to understand it is to think of your equipment like a car: when it's due, you take it for an MOT, and they tell you if it's fine (no issues) or bad (things need fixing); in the latter case, you take the car to the garage to fix it.

For your device, it's exactly the same: it will undergo a Review (MOT), and if a fault is detected, it will go to Technical Service (garage).

To find out if your equipment has a fault, simply turn it on and wait for an audible alarm (1-3 high-pitched beeps), the yellow alarm triangle light will come on, and a message will appear on the screen indicating the fault.

The only surprise we will inform you about is if a fault is detected in your device, as it is an electronic device.

If it is still under warranty, we will contact you from TuTratamiento.com and inform you so that you can give us your consent to repair it.

If it is no longer under warranty, we will inform you of the fault, the estimated repair cost, and the procedure. If you agree, the Technical Service will proceed with the repair; otherwise, the reviewed but unrepaired equipment will be returned to you, and you will only need to pay for the labor.
